“I want to get into estate agency but have no
industry experience – can you help?” The simple
answer to this is yes. Many of our clients take trainee sales
and lettings staff on and offer valuable, comprehensive
training. To be considered for these roles you MUST have a
full clean UK drivers licence and in a lot of cases would be
required to own a car. Having worked within sales is also
advantageous.
“Do you only recruit estate
agents?” NO, we also recruit secretaries,
administrators, PA’s, property managers, new homes site reps,
accounting staff, inventory clerks, commercial agents,
surveyors and area managers – if it’s in property – we
recruit.
“ Do I have to come into your offices
in the first instance for an interview?” Subject
to circumstances – yes. Interviews should be seen as a
learning process. We pride ourselves on the fact we know our
clients so well that upon meeting a candidate we know the type
of company they would best fit and most enjoy working for. We
also use the interview as a tool to advise you the candidate
on your interviewing and presentation downfalls – you would be
amazed at how a flippant comment could lose you the chance of
a job offer because it is interpreted as something else – we
like to make sure it doesn’t happen by giving you honest,
tactful advise to improve your chances. We also use the time
to give you advice face to face about the companies we feel
you’d best suit, locations, earning potentials, benefits etc…
Our comments are also highly regarded by our clients and so in
some cases we are used to, in effect, carry out the first
interview – which cuts down the interviewing process for both
yourself and our clients – why do two interviews with a
prospective employer when you only need do
one?
“What other advise can you give
me?” Our consultants are all highly trained and
can offer a wealth of advise – too much to list here – however
the majority have also worked within the property industry in
many different capacities therefore we are able to provide
extensive information about both the industry and job
expectations, where your career can take you and what is
expected from you in return. |
