Personal Assistant to the Headteacher & Leadership Group

Fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for a PA to the Headteacher & Leadership Team in an East London Secondary School.
Your day to day duties will include, but not limited to;
•Managing staff recruitment functions, liaising with agencies and co-ordinating procedures.
•Organising the Headteacher's working systems and procedures.
•Co-ordinating the Headteacher's diary commitments.
•Managing agendas and minutes in relation to Headteacher and Leadership Group meetings.
•Preparing briefing notes for the Headteacher and other members of the Leadership Group as required.
•Managing press release material, co-ordinating photo shoots and gathering information.
•Word processing a wide range of correspondence, reports and documentation.
•Providing management information and creating and maintaining databases and spreadsheets as required.
•Co-ordinating special projects, particularly those of a confidential or sensitive nature.
•Managing Governor information and maintaining minutes of Sub Committees.
•Liaising with other key staff particularly in relation to statutory functions such as Pupil Disciplinary Hearings.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate/provide evidence of:
•High level interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy and discretion.
•Good computer skills, particularly in relation to word processing, email, Internet use, databases and spreadsheets.
•Very effective oral and written communication skills, for a variety of audiences and functions.
•Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work on own initiative.
•Ability to work effectively under pressure, staying calm, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
•Ability to take accurate minutes of meetings.
•Experience of devising effective administrative systems and procedures.
•Sensitive and confidential handling of a wide range of working practices.
•High level technical skills, such as report-writing, compiling dossiers, researching information.
