An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Comprehensive School in East London as the Head of Art for a September 2010 start.
We require an outstanding leader of Art, as an inspirational & creative Subject Leader who is fully committed to raising standards. The school is seeking to appoint a dynamic, versatile Head of Art to provide a strong lead for the department.
The successful Head of Art will be a talented classroom practitioner, creative and well organised, with a passion for their subject. We are looking for a quality individual to further development within this department.
Applicants should be committed to raising standards and safeguarding students, enthusiastic and caring with high professional standards and be able to teach throughout the school. Participation in the wider life of the school would be expected
Your role will be to provide an excellent and developing learning base for students at the school. You should have experience of teaching Art at KS3 & KS4 (Qualified with QTS). KS5/ A-Level experience is a bonus due to there being a sixth form.
